I'm glad you're still here with us! It's hard to lose someone you love. You may never get over it, but you can get through it. Hold on to the people you still have that love you so much and would miss you terribly if you were gone. For your birthday, I wish you peace of mind and peace of heart.

The gospels were written 40 years after the ressurrection, but those who penned them were alive. As were many who were eyewitnesses to what was being written. Matthew was a disciple and therefore very familiar with the events he wrote about. You are correct about Mark. He wrote Peter's account....

Why do manufacturers put stickers on everything? Drives me nuts! And then that gooey gluey stuff is left behind. Another obsession of mine - all those cardboard cards and inserts in my magazine. First thing I do is tear them all out and trash them I love being OC!

Two items came to mind. First my dad's old Philco radio. It was already old when he listened to music and ballgames over it. When we did dinner dishes, all three of us kids would play the rock and roll station while we did our chores. "That blamed music" as my mother called it. Mom still has...
