What a week! on 2007-10-28 13:14:58 |

We, here in the States, have that same silly habit about the time. We call it Daylight Savings Time and our clocks "fall" back next week. I always dread it because it means by the time you get off work, it's already dark and when you get up in the morning it's still dark. Add the rain and the cold. Depressing! Especially for one who likes the light and the sun. I must learn accemptance I suppose. And we do need the rain this year. We are very dry. So, bring it on!

I hope you will keep your "Aussie-ness." There's a word I just made up. I enjoy talking to those in other lands and one of the best things is they talk different, have a different perspective, different customs. Viva la difference!

I LOVED the picture of the cross. That is very cool! I, too, very much enjoyed our mother-daughter bonding weekend laced with laughter, mochas, chocolate, old Indians, numerical flatulence, and beautiful fall foilage. All this and I was raised on a farm! tee hee

Music is God given. It's a heart issue. What is the music glorifying? If it's violence, profanity, disregard for others, then it's being twisted for evil purposes. Love, life, joy, celebration, tears and sorrow to express human pain and struggle - all valid, a creative expression of life, hope, triumph in adversity, etc. Enjoy the talents He has given you, but guard your heart!

Congratulations to the best coach of pint-sized football players that I know. That had to be exciting!
I am so glad you enjoyed your day of horseback riding. It sounds so wonderful and I want you to know I am so jealous!
And now back to sports - you ARE cheering our Indians on are you not?!!!

I can see why you would be depressed after battling all this for so long. Who wouldn't be! But depression is a result, not the cause. I cannot imagine how frustrated you must be. There is obviously something very wrong and it doesn't take a medical degree to figure that out. I pray the root cause would be revealed and soon. God bless you and help you to get the treatment you need.

You had me totally believing every word! Great suspense, enough truth to make it believeable and then the surprise at the end. Wow! You are good at this. By the way, I found a comment in one of my old blogs that I had missed about kids wearing uniforms in the States. Some private schools have uniforms. A lot of schools have "dress codes." For example, in the school my granddaughter goes to you have to wear collared shirts or blouses, no sandals or "flip flops" and a few other things. Pretty reasonable. And then some schools are fairly wide open. Basically, it depends on the school.

I'm so glad to see you back! All the best to the tiny dancer and the gymnist. Shelby is running cross country. It is indeed a delight to watch them in the pursuit of life...and the arts.
