 reopen heart
how do you open your heart after the one thing you loved more than anything is gone?my husband joe died from a horrible fight with cancer.he died here at home.we had 32 good years together.but i dont feel i should be part of the world anymore.we always did everything together.we were both uniquily strange but fit together like a pair of gloves.i am trying not to turn hard against the world.i only blame the cancer for taking him.but i am losing my desire to be creative.i dont enjoy my music or painting.i just sit here.it has been 8 months.people say get over it.......HOW.Cry

hi pearl
i'm really sorry about you losing your husband after so many years together - 32 years is a damn good run.
but you are not dead yet.
good luck to you, really.
cheers.

The only way to get over a death is to take it one day at a time and at you own pace. Start by adding little stuff back into your life one at a time and move on from there. Good luck.
