Now we are home. However the end of the trip was about as good as the beginning. Our flight out of Beijing was delayed 5 hours. we were supposed to leave a 4:55pm so naturally we got to the airport around 1 for security and walking around, hanging out in the lounge and pre boarding. but then we had to sit in the lounge (which had free food and drinks and stuff but was really really hot b/c of no air circulating) until 9 because the plane took off at 930. because of this delay we got to chicago at 8ish and had missed our connecting flight to nashville.
its weird because we left beijing at 930 on june 21 and got to chicago at 8 on june 21.
in chicago we got a free hotel room at the hilton on airport property (this is an important fact)
so because of sleeping most of the way back, i couldnt sleep a lot in the hotel so at 3 we watched tv. our plane left at 640 so it didnt really matter.
