Dear Thoughts Community,
I am married to McGrouch. She is a loving wife and wonderful mother, but...
at times she is McGrouch. Am I alone or do women like to lecture, lecture, lecture??
I can never be perfect. My sons can't be perfect. I am hiding at the computer writing
this! I can hear her lecturing to the kids in another room. What is it like to be grouchy?
I am tempted to tape her secretly. Do women know they do this? It's funny, sad,
annoying, frustrating. I guess it keeps me at the office sometimes, or out on the
golf course with the guys. She's not grouchy all the time...but when she is, I
take solace in my computer!

Well, we wouldn't have to lecture so much if you guys would just listen to us and do what we say right away because we are often consumed with feelings of inadequacy and become enraged because when we say something you guys say 'oh, yeah, I will' then do your own thing anyway so maybe if you actually did what you said you were going to do we wouldn't have to repeat ourselves a thousand times because listening to ourselves talk just means that maybe we weren't getting enough attention in the first place because you are so busy hiding in front of the computer instead of helping with, like, maybe VACUUMING or helping with the kids but noooooooo, the hockey game is on so you'll 'do it later' which really means next month so I may as well do it myself.....
There now. Feel better? You've been lectured while hiding in front of the computer. We women are *everywhere*,and if guys didn't like us, you'd stop asking us to play with you! Haha!!!

Paul I saw that one comming....for thirty years now I've learned to find something to do in my shop...I have a sign in my office that says...If Momma aint happy...aint nobody gonna be happy..

You got that right!
Actually used that line last week (sadly). My poor son is learning this the hard way. He better get ready for reality!
I'll be the first to admit - women are nuts. Psychotic and nutty. And are full of advise. And can never shut u........
