I can't wait. The Darby is just one week away now. I just saw a workout of Gayego. It makes me
want to change my favorite from Col. John to Gayego. However, I still think Col. John has a
little more closing speed than Gayego, so I am sticking with him. Big Brown is a question mark.
His speed figures suggest he will just blow away the field. The problem with Big Brown is
that he will either destroy the field, or instead, bring out the best in field. Big Brown will throw
down the gauntlet, for sure...but, there are some great horses out there who may rise to the
challenge. I think Col. John is up to the challenge so, for now, I am picking Col. John and Big Brown
as 1-2...the trifecta is Col. John, Big Brown, and Gayego. Box those as an exacta-box and make
some cash....I think....we'll see...but I for one am betting on them.
