| Can A Black Man Be President??
|
|
|
You heard the racist comments at the dinner table growing up...well, they
weren't really racist...instead, they were like this..."Oh, she's dating HIM, hmmm,
isn't he BLACK??" ....or, when walking up to a restaurant..."This place looks
okay"...then upon getting closer and then noticing people of color in the
place..."You know, this place doesn't look that good, let's go somewhere
else."
So, people are now afraid to vote for Obama because his former pastor
happens to say racist things? Let me tell you, it is the things that people
do and also it is the things people DON'T say that are far more racist. When people
SAY things, the words are a proposition, they are an opinion. When people DO things or
IMPLY things, they are representing things as a given, as a fact.
I am not a black man. And, I am not afraid of Obama.
I don't think he would change his restaurant because there were too many white folks in it.
I don't think he would say referring to a person, "It's he WHITE?"
Can a black man be President? I don't know. I think people want Obama to fail.
I think they want to point out any flaw to knock him down. I don't care who his
pastor is or what his pastor says. I am a Republican who is going to vote for
Obama because I believe a black man can be President. So if they say,
"Hey, that's the President, isn't he black??" My answer will be a
resounding YES!!! Yes He is and I am proud of him and America.

Greetings Paul:
Your approach to this subject is right on. It is time that we as American stand up and become true American's, and stop judging a person by the color of their skin but by the content of their character. The question is not wheather a black man can become President. It is can this man, Obama, become President? My answer is yes He can and yes He will become our next President.
You see what so many people don't understand is that this man is an instrument of God. He is no different than Moses. God raised up Moses and sent him into Egypt to lead His people out of bondage because He had heard the cry of his people. Now God has done the same thing again here in the 21st century. He has raised up Obama, appointed him, anoited him and empowered him to bring a change into this entire world.
No matter how much the people fight and throw up smoke screems trying to derail this movement, remember the freight train has already left the station and it has now gained full power and anything that is in it's way will be run over. This is a movement of God, and when God moves nothing can stop his will.
Therefore, let us all continue in prayer that God's will be done on this earth as it has been done in heaven.
Obama becoming our next President is already a done deal. You can take that to the bank.
Much love,
Davis
