Belmont Stakes Triple Crown One Week Away
Big Brown.
Big Brown.
Big....
Brown...
I picked him in the Preakness...that was obvious...
BUT, his trainer Rick Dutrow has become way too cocky.
The saying is, "Pride goeth before a fall."
PLUS, BB's owners have already inked a deal which, being an
attorney, tells me that if BB is injured or dies at Belmont
next Saturday, the money is probably still due and payable.
Could Dutrow be setting up an..."I didn't know BB wasn't
going to win...honest!!" Something doesn't seem right about
this buildup...maybe its because I don't  remember Secretariat's
"super horse" bid for the TC. OR, maybe, we as bettors are getting
suckered on the biggest bounce in throughbred history. I found it
odd that Behindatthebar was injured just before the Preakness.
Was he really injured? OR, was Pletcher saving him for Belmont?
With all the attention on Casino Drive...who is magnificent by the way...
I am going to lay some bets on Behindatthebar because I don't think
Desormeaux or Prado necessarily have a lock on this thing. AND,
besides, I gotta go with the California Horse. My recommendation
a $1 exacta box with BB, BATB, and CD will only cost $6. Why not???
