Well...I have been in Norfolk for the past couple of days. I went to Busch Gardens with my brother today - he bought me a summer pass so we can go as often as we want if I move down here. That should earn him some cool points.
I'm glad I got to come and kind of mentally prepare myself for what it would be like to live here. I think it could be a really good thing.
My interview with the investment company went well (I think). It lasted almost 3 hours, so I am hoping that's a good sign. I should hear from them on Monday.
I would really like to work there. And I think I'd be a good "match" for what they want in an employee.
Tomorrow is Mother's Day.
I love my mom. She's the best. She is amazingly talented and beautiful. And she has a good heart (the figurative one). And I know she loves me. She has always told me how beautiful I am and how special. Even though there have been plenty of times when I didn't believe her - she still said it. And it has helped me become confident in who God has created me to be - a beautiful woman. Like my cuz said on a comment - beauty is on the inside. And when someone feels beautiful and knows they have something to offer the world - you can see it on the outside. Have you ever noticed that people become more or less attractive once you get to know them? You could meet the ugliest person in the world - but get to know their heart...and the ugliness fades. Or you could meet the most beautiful - and they are ugly on the inside. It's repelling.
