This isn't an official entry to scribbles challenge # 46- just a musing it inspired.. giving due credit- Fragle riffed on this first..
We scribblers were asked to use these words in a creative piece: essence, saddened, altruistic, bounce, perpendicular, bile, guess, junk.. as the Challenge crew said, a word salad..
what people did with that melange was unbelievable: poems, stories, musings--some were profound, some witty, some twisted, some simply beautiful. some were able to use the words in the order they were given.. or in backwards order- amazing. I even surprised myself. what really struck me was how much of their personality each person had managed to inject.. if you took off the names, you'd still know who wrote a lot of them..
It seems to me that without realizing it the Challenge crew created a perfect image for Thoughts...
some posts just capture the essence of a subject or emotion; but you can't help but feel sadness about many blogs.. there are lots of wonderful altruistic folks out there fighting tirelessly for their cause; but others just seem to bounce around. some blogger's emotions are a rollercoaster ride- straight up and then a perpendicular plunge; some just have to write with bile and anger. you have to guess where some people's heads are at.. and some are, in all honesty, junk...
But the great minds here at thoughts take this blogsalad.. this jumble of ideas..inject their own personalities.. and create an endlessly entertaining, moving, inspiring, thrilling, gutwrenching, heartwarming, dazzling, incredible wordpictureshow.. What a kaleidoscope!
and I'm so happy and proud that my small piece helps complete the pattern...
