Well, nobody can accuse me of coming from the same place twice- thrown pretty much every pitch in the repertoire lately.. so just some extremely random thoughts:
from the Who'd a thunk it category-
If you would have told me when I started I'd post something like the wordpicture I just painted for Dreadnought I'd never have believed it. Had no Idea my imagination could fly that high.. but- as Douglas Adams said.. "flying is learning to throw yourself at the ground and miss." pretty much how I'm going about it....
And Larry- suppose 40 years ago we were sitting at the local and said "boys, one of these days we won't need no Phones.. we'll be able to talk to someone in China just by typing." they'd have cut us off.. But last night I did Just that.. so:
Let me introduce new poster Luming Zou.
He was in search of an English name he could use similar to his.. after some thought we came up with "Lyman" as an approximation of his first name.. and Zao as an phonetic version of his last. so in English he will use Lyman Zao. Sounds pretty good! He's in Northwest China.. an area most of us don't know well. I really look forward to finding out more!
Liebchen has officially got the crud- coughing, fever.. so prayers. and I gotta go into nurse mode so may not be on as much..
Bigbill is doing his practicum for D/A counseling and is very happy.. he has a very good mentor and it's an excellent program. but he's got a killer Schedule- 3 10 hour days with a 20 mile commute and 14 hours of school. won't have time to get into trouble...
Liebchen found out her immediate boss is leaving.. can't blame her. She's really been banging her head against the wall. but it probably means everything will be snafued for a good while.. as if it ain't now.. sigh...
And I am on a creative roll I can't believe.
I've really had to pull my socks up to stay on the varsity.. and It has been truly mindstretching. thanks.. I'll keep 'em coming..
Does anyone have the same problem I do?
it's like the posting knows which category I wanna use.. and it ain't on the list. but when I create it again.. I get "changes to.... have been saved.." If I can change it why can't you show it? sigh...
