 Great God
Hello Saints of God, friends and bloggers

Just wanted to give you a report on what the Lord has done - Acts 15:4 (NLT) says,
“When they arrived in Jerusalem, Paul and Barnabas were welcomed by the whole church, including the apostles and elders. They reported on what God had been doing through their ministry.”

It is a great thing when we please the Lord. My prayer has been, Lord am I pleasing you in what I am doing?

Well, we (Sister Deirdre, Sister Randa, Sister Erica and my son James) went to the Shadow of His Wings Orphanage and gave the young girls M.R.C. bags filled with small gifts, also, we gave the staff and house parents a small gift. They were so happy to see us and we played games with the girls and helped teach in their classrooms.

Then we went to Peten to see our missionaries, Miguel and Dwyanna and brought them some books and supplies that they needed. We had to go through the jungle and sunk down in the mud, of which I tore up the rental mini van. After we got rescued and cleaned up, we had dinner in a grass hut. It was great to see how missionaries live.

God opened a door in the town were the girls live and I was able to preach. It was only the Lord, as this pastor did not know me. Earlier that day I had prayed for the gardener and he told his pastor about me. You know what, I did not have any place to preach when I left Connecticut, all I had was a prayer offered in faith. I want you to know that God answers prayer today! He is the same… Hebrews 13:8 (NLT) says, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.”

God opened another door in a small town on our way to Peten. An older lady named Blanca opened her house to us. She called every body in her church and they came out to the church service at the drop of a dime in the pouring rain. I was able to preach again and the team prayed over the people and they felt the power of God.
I was, also, asked to dedicate a baby to the Lord. Praise His Holy Name!

Then we took a trip to where the Transformation videos were shot in Almolonga. We saw the biggest vegetables and I (the only brave one) was able to eat some kind of food that was offered on a lettuce leaf but I do not know what it was.

The elders of the church that were in the Transformation videos prayed over us. I asked them to pray for me that I would just please the Lord, that everything I do would please HIM.

The Lord told me it was all because we had been praying every night and he wants us to keep praying. For in praying, doors will be open that no man can close.

The Lord did a great work in the ladies, also, my son James. I kept pushing them and they did not know what they were capable of doing for the Lord but they tried their best. After walking in all that mud in the jungle (when the car was stuck), I did not think that they would be going with me again on another mission’s trip, but God touched them. The Lord told me to stop trying to protect them and just leave them in his hands and he would do the rest. Well, He did and they want to go back again so we are already planning our next trip.

I will be doing a spy mission’s trip to San Salvador, Honduras and Nicaragua. I will be traveling through these countries only with the help of the Lord. My son, Joshua, will be my “Mark” (like in the book of Acts) but he will not be able to go home for as he is stuck with me and I’ll have his passport. I ask you to pray for us that God would have his way in us as we are about our FATHER’S BUSINESS.
The plan is to go sometime in October or November as the Lord directs us.

I want to challenge you to step out of your comfort zone and do something for the Lord. Some people live all their lives and never step out in faith. All of our team said it changed their lives for the better!

Yes, when we put our faith and trust in God, He is faithful to answer and provide! May God continue to bless all of your labors!

Thank you for the update and testimony! It is an encouragement to 'Keep on keepin' on!"!
