Hello bloggers. I want to challenge you this year in 2008. We, at our church are being challenged, for we believe that 2008 is the year of EXPECTATION! The Bible says in Ephesians 3:20 (NLT), “Now glory be to God! By his mighty power at work within us, He is able to accomplish infinitely more than we would ever dare to ask or hope.” If you want more action in your life, then give yourself to the Lord completely. For God made you and He has a great plan for your life! You can never experience God’s great plan without resistance. You need to embrace your call. The way to your call is through the cross. For Jesus, in Matthew 10:38 (NLT) said, “If you refuse to take up your cross and follow me, you are not worthy of being mine.” The cross is your catalyst to carry you to your call. Therefore, your gifts are the ones that were given to you to do your call. And your gifts will take you places you would have never dreamed of. Joseph did not know how great of a man he would become. When you read Joseph’s story, we see that it was God who took him through all the hardships in his life to make him the great man he became. Near the end of the story this is what he said in Genesis 45:5 (NLT), “But don't be angry with yourselves that you did this to me, for God did it. He sent me here ahead of you to preserve your lives.” So, now do you understand what God is doing in your life? He is bringing you to a place he has prepared for you long before he made the world! Give into God’s desires and do what he has called you to do. There will be a great reward waiting for you in heaven when you meet Jesus face to face. He will say to you, “Well done you good and faithful servant.” So be blessed and move out of your comfort zone!
