Do not look at the clouds for they will stop you

If you wait for perfect conditions, you will never get anything done.

He that observeth the wind shall not sow; and he that regardeth the clouds shall not reap.
Some people are always afraid to take a chance and do something for the Lord. They are always making excuses If my friend was not or if they were only someone else. They are always blaming someone or something! Even God!!!
1. Jacob did not look his surroundings
a. Genesis 29:20 (NLT)
b. So Jacob spent the next seven years working to pay for Rachel. But his love for her was so strong that it seemed to him but a few days.
c. You see Jacob did not look at the days as they went by; he just kept his eyes on his beautiful Rachel. So we must keep our eyes on Jesus.

2. The three Hebrew men did not look
a. Daniel 3:16-18 (NLT)
b. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego replied, "O Nebuchadnezzar, we do not need to defend ourselves before you. [17] If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God whom we serve is able to save us. He will rescue us from your power, Your Majesty. [18] But even if he doesn't, Your Majesty can be sure that we will never serve your gods or worship the gold statue you have set up.
c. Failed soldier, farmer and real estate agent at 38 years then went to work for his father as handyman. Ulysses S. Grant.
d. The Hebrew men understood who God was and that God was able to do a great miracle in their life but it was God’s choice to whatever he wanted to do because they put their trust in His faithfulness.

f. George Muller set out to take care of kids without looking at the hard times but just trusting the Lord that he would provide and He did provide all that was needed.

3. Ananias did not look at the danger he could be in
a. Acts 9:13-14 (NLT)
b. "But Lord," exclaimed Ananias, "I've heard about the terrible things this man has done to the believers in Jerusalem! [14] And we hear that he is authorized by the leading priests to arrest every believer in Damascus."
c. Acts 9:15-17 (NLT) But the Lord said, "Go and do what I say. For Saul is my chosen instrument to take my message to the Gentiles and to kings, as well as to the people of Israel. [16] And I will show him how much he must suffer for me."
d. [17] So Ananias went and found Saul. He laid his hands on him and said, "Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus, who appeared to you on the road, has sent me so that you may get your sight back and be filled with the Holy Spirit."
e. Cut from, high school basketball team went home, locked himself in his room and cried -Michael Jordan
f. Fired from a newspaper because he lacked imagination and had no original ideas – Walt Disney
g. Because Ananias went forth and was not afraid to pray over Paul. Paul then became a great man of God.
h. Hudson Taylor went to China and it was very hard but did not have fear only the fear of the Lord.
i. C.T. Suttd in his older age went to the Congo and set up ministries there in the time when they had man-eating people.



I do not look at what I can do but at what God can do though me because all I have to do is believe and then there is nothing that is impossible.
