summer

all of this season, for me, has its sum in the smell of central air conditioning and cut lemons, the Price-is-Right theme song and garden tomatoes for lunch. Bleached linens on clothesline. Leafy Maples. Bologna with mustard.

this day, things are good; subjectively. My altitude is interdependent with the weather; the color of the sky. I react to both cerulean and grey with equally insoluble pleasure. It's those mediocre hues that diffuse me.

and, being so "affected", an early morning rain storm dilutes my concentration and turns tree trunks a nice ebony. I want to sit on the front porch longer; soaking in the wet, black- on-green canvas.

no matter the Azure, ten integers for the equation:
1. radically study Quantum Physics this summer
2. get an orange cat
3. finish my French chateau,or...complete home decor
4. get a white laptop
5. string lights in civil war tent encampment
6. bake bread for shelter
7. take caleb fishing
8. grow strawberries
9. watch movies in backyard playhouse
10. have kids do modern acrylic (for living room)

#11...add more altruism.

until next time, loveandblessings

hi sticks,
i AM that transparent, huh? or, you know me all too well.
There's nothing to compare; seeing your chalky outline on my little green page. Save, maybe, green-on-black canvas :)
I'll stay tethering, here...waiting for "randamonium"

Always a pleasure to see and read your blog, lily!
You look as though you have quite an ambitious summer ahead...
it's good to have a plan...especially with altruism!
I love garden tomatoes, too!

What a nice summer you have planned! I especially love that you have a playhouse. I'll bring the popcorn. Hope you meet all these goals, or find others that catch your interest.Summer is meant to wander after all. Love and hugs, circe

I wish you were my mom, or my kids' mom.

oh bloody hell... more tardy than this, i could not be...
*sigh* such is the price of life... :p
i love your endeavours.... maybe i should make a list for myself too...
oh no! i'm not falling into the 'list' trap, am i?
i wonder what the stickman's list of priorities for the summer would be... hmmmm...
i hadn't thought of quantum physics... although i like the zeros and ones approach...
i'll have to ponder this while eating some lil' tomatoes...
thanx again, lily!

cheers!
:)

I'm jealous of the company you keep.

I love mustard...

Facinating format. How you draw your picture in my mind leaves me wishing to walk that space outside of what I imagine it to be. Nice list but I fear it is above me. I could not even spell number one let alone study it for a summer!

Peace my friend...

I smelled autumn in the air today; a back to school, shortened days, change in the universe kind of smell. Will you return? Have you accomplished all of your list?

The way you express yourself is very unique.
You have such a quaint vocabulary.
Thanks for stopping by, I might not have
ever found you if you would not have
left such an endearing comment for me.
I think you found a new friend.
All Love.
