| A day of bitter feelings and anger...

I awoke this morning to 5-6" of wet snow. I thought it was suppose to be mostly rain! We have had our share of snow this winter, more than average they say. Of course this is the winter we decided to do all the shovelling ourselves instead of having it plowed. And who's bright idea was that?
The snow is only a minute part of my stress lately. Money is the other. But then who isn't stressed by money, either lack of or ok; lack of. The Dow has tumbled to record lows, money we once had is gone. Everyday we watch the stock market tumble, every day we see our savings dwindle. It makes us physically ill, we are trying to remain middle class, but the markets aren't allowing it. We are trying to keep our heads above water, but the president insists there is nothing wrong. He spends millions, now trillions on a budget that we are not included in. We are without health insurance, if we become ill or diseased we will stumble along to our death so that the surviving parent can have money to raise our children. We do not have wealthy parents, grandparents, uncles or aunts. We are only us trying to survive in a country who only takes care of the millionaires. We are run by men and women who do not struggle to put food on the table and gas in their cars and if they lose their jobs they will have a nice pension, benefits and whatever else they will need provided by the government for the rest of their lives.
Does this make me bitter, angry, frustrated, stressed. What do you think? |
