ok to answer a few comments, my own identity... Ive thought about it since Blue mentioned it on one of her comments, and now Fancie has jumped on board. While I initally started "the other woman" just as it's common definition, I'm out to redefine it. I'm keeping my name to remind me, yes I was THAT other woman, but now I'm a different "other woman" I'm the other woman who survived and became a stronger sense of who I am. I'm the other woman who demands to be first in her lovers life, at minimum share it if he has kids. I'm the other woman who got the better end of the deal! I'm the other woman that can also be defined as the one who got away... TWICE! hows that for identity?!!!!
Today is the start of "downhill" Today I don't have to say to minime, hey babygirl you come home in x# of days... I get to say HEY you come home THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW!!!!!!! I'm already preparing to take off at lunch on Friday and be sitting in EC and wifey's Driveway to pick up my babygirl! I'm going to kiss her little face off!
Oh here's a question for you... Let me set the foundation for this first... I'm a traditional mom. conservative. I like minime on a schedule, and I stick to it, wavering only for special occasions. I don't think that little girls need to look to Hannah Montana or any other Disney teeny bopper to see what's "cool" I don't let minime watch anything other than the Noggin channel which is based for preschoolers, I prefer she wear a one piece swimsuit, though I'm letting the baby bikini thing ride for now. I will however once she hits 5, only permit a one peice. I want to raised my daughter to be a little lady.
So here's my question... Do you think it's appropriate to take your toddler child to Hooters?? This is exactly what wifey and EC did last night with minime... they took her to Hooters! and then I get a condecending "let me guess.... you don't approve" comment? of course I don't approve! are you kidding me?! Why would you want to take your child there? I KNOW that not everyone parents as conservatively as I do... my parents were SUPER strict on me, and I think about all the thing I got away with! I don't want to be an overbearing mom, I just feel like if I start things while she's young then she'll never know the difference and be unlikely to question it, until she's older. I don't know whether or not to push the issues of the little string bikini they put her in and the hooters outing, but I damn sure don't like it!

I don't think that's appropriate for a toddler at all.

That restaurant or anything like them is inappropiate for any child under the age of 18.

It does seem a bit much to take a toddler to Hooters. I wonder what she thought about it, or if it brought up any questions on her part.
I wouldn't take my toddler, (if I had one) to Hooters.
I'm glad that she is coming home soon!

I would be extremely upset if someone took my toddler to Hooters. That EC and wifey think this type of establishment is appropriate is troubling. There's a man out there who will cherish you and respect your ways of parenting. Male influences (during a girl's growing up days) play a big part in the formation of a women's self esteem. Sounds to me like you dodged a bullet when things didn't work out between you and EC. Glad MiniMe will be back in your care very soon. Peace.

Ok I'm going to have to disagree with all of these comments about Hooters. I think it's fine to take a kid to hooters. Why is it not? It isn't a strip club. The waitresses are just wearing tight shirts and shorts.
What kind of questions would come up? "Dad, how come her legs are so long?" Come on...pick your battles..
