I've been depressed since the end of EC and me. I've had a hard time pulling myself together, I just keep telling myself that I will heal with time. This weekend EC and I had it out. I addressed the bikini and Hooters issues and ended up getting told to mind my own business... though I don't understand how my daughter is not my business. It's explained to me that what happens in his household is their business and what happens in mine is my business... well alrighty then. I hope he can handle what he's asked for.
So to get to my title.... I'm driving along in my convertible sports car with minime in the back seat, and along comes a truck with a "country" boy and his daughter along side of me at a stop light. He smiles, I smile back... we both pull off, come to the next light, and he's blaring country music... I kindof dance along, just acting playful and he's looking in his side mirror at me, and laughes with me. Off we go... another stop light, he leans out as I'm still acting playful and says "you like that?" I throw 2 thumbs up and away we go... we did the car "flirt" thing where one pulls ahead and then slows to let the other catch up... of course this ended at the next light... then he yells over to me... "Don't find to many girls who like that kind of music" I said I love some country. (Ok really I'm a top 40's kinds girl, but I was flirting, and I do like some country) I said, by the way, Happy Father's Day. he said thanks... he said "Do you have a man?" I said "Hell No!" He said where are you headed? I said to take my daughter to her dad. you? He said headed to take her to her mom. He said Can I have your number? so I gave him my number and he said he'd call me later this week.... I hope he does, I'm in serious need of a diversion!!! |

Yay! I hope he turns out to be a GREAT MAN! And PS, I am glad you are back, I missed reading your blogs. I'm a little late telling you because I was on VACA and I was so happy to see you wrote while I was away!
