I'm back from my vacation!! and boy did I NEED it!
so a few updates...
Country boy DID end up calling... 4 days after he got my number.. I teased him about being one of "those" guys that gets a girls number then has a "waiting" period before calling so as not to look to eager or whatever. We talked back and forth some in texts, but mainly phone conversations the entire week I was on vacation. He made the comment several times that he's not a "phone" talker, but is amazed that he can talk to me for hours on end. One of our conversations was at least 4 hours long! I'm excited about him! Many times, when I start talking to someone new, it's within the first 2-3 conversations that things turn sexual. Of course this tells me that they are looking for a piece of ass, and depending on how pushy they are with that particular subject, will determine if I continue to talk to him. WELL, country boy, we talked the entire week and not once did it turn sexual! I said something about kissing and I swear I could feel him blushing over the phone! haha I just love it! He has this "this is me" attitude, and he's not one to waste words. he tells you exactly what he thinking. now for the real fun part... we've already decided what we're going to do for our first "date".... fishing! yes, I said Fishing! how cool is that?! My dad used to take me as a child, and I have found a guy who wants to take me fishing! LMAO... now we're just having to figure out the logistics of when b/c he has his daughter every weekend, and we both work during the week. I'm liking that we are taking thing super slow, getting to know one another, enjoying our conversations but not putting too much emphasis on having to talk to one another. yeah!
as for my vacation,
it was typical... by the end of it I was ready to be home. with the exception of the wifey and EC drama...
I have now been proclaimed (by them, as told by wifey) to be a liar. They are tired of not getting to see minime and they want a new visitation agreement.
ok, so I say to myself.... as it stands right now, EC gets minime every day he's off, unless he has something to do, or God forbid I go on vacation. almost every single time his days off are in a row, she spends the night. so by my calculations this is on average 4-5 overnights per month, with 2 additional "days" where she just spends the day with him. during the 4-5 overnights... she spends the day portion with him as well b/c he's not working... this is a solid 48-ish hours where they are together.
They are talking about changing it to every other weekend and one day per week. so by my understanding this takes them STILL to 4 nights per month and 2 "days" with the kicker that if it's standard every other weekend, he will have to guarantee work one of those weekends and he'll only see her in the morning b4 he leaves, or at night once he gets home... Is it just me or does that seem utterly stupid! and then there IS the consideration that if we do the standard every other weekend, what happens if his schedule gets messed up, and NOW he's working both weekends he's supposed to be visiting her??? Am I supposed to rearrange her "set in stone" schedule to accomodate HIM? Where is the "in the best interest of the child" come into play?????? Someone PLEASE tell me if I'm wrong!!! |

YOu are not wrong. Whatever you decide is what should happen. No matter what they want or say, that's what I say.
I am happy about country boy. Have fun. Taking it slow is a good thing.
