Jamie Lynn Spears' pregnancy is nothing but her own fault. It's not a crime for her to have sex but she should have been more careful with protection. I'm in high school and I know people who have sex on a daily or weekly basis, but what makes them different from our little teen starlet here is that they actually are cautious about condoms, pills, and such.
I know it's true that condoms or pills don't always work, but they are overwhelmingly effective. And if you really care about the slim percentage of getting pregnant (even after taking this cautionary measures), then keep your pants up. Don't have sex at all. It's not that hard to wait until you're old enough and responsible enough to deal with an unwanted pregnancy.
But, I'm not going to act all "goody-goody" and "self-righteous" here. I have had sex. But I use protection and to this day, my use of protection has kept me from becoming impregnated. I am a living, breathing witness to condoms' and birth control pills' effectiveness and I am sure there are many other living, breathing witnesses out there.
