I hear tell of a new kind of math
Really not sure how it is done
I did find after years of learning
That two plus two equealed one

It seems that hers is hers only her's
Carried most of mine to her column to
I have never seen this kind of division
And the subtraction was something new

Now I know that I wasn't the smartest kid
Never really felt the need to lift a book
But tonight I think I am off to the library
I think I may have to take another look

For richer or poorer I remember the vow
But I figure I must have read them wrong
Did not know I would be poorer to her richer
I think she hood winked me with our song

Sonny and Cher are singing I got you babe
While a new equation forms in her head
And not once did I see her do calculations
But I only own fourteen percent of the bed

No wonder the economy is so screwed up
They are they using this times table as well
Wonder how deep she's got her hands there
But when her party takes over that just may tell

I remember when zero was called the ought
And I learned how to use an abacus in school
Should I have known it would get so complicated
Should I tell her my calculator Say's I am a fool
