The job of a stay at home Mom on 2008-03-24 19:19:10 |
|
I stay home with my kids too. They are ages 6, 5, and 4, two boys and a girl. Last week I wrote "If anyone thinks mothering isn't work, they are insane. I'd like to see a high powered executive make it in my environment for more than an hour without losing their cool." So yes, I am shaking my head with you and feeling very blessed as well at the same time. Thank you for posting. Nadia

You are right, our thoughts do have tremendous power. I think our positive thoughts are linked to the infinite love of God and the negative ones are the ones we have ignorantly made up on our own to further our own selfish agenda's. Personally, I am trying to rid myself of the negative and replace it with the positive, it's an ongoing job for me but is proving to be well worth the effort. Glad you are here connecting to the world, Nadia

Here is a joke I wrote last year. It all comes from a real experience with my ex-husband. I thought of it when I read your post. Hope you like it. Nadia
10 Clues the Man you are Dating might be a Con Artist
1. He lets you wear his jacket and then asks you what happened to his wallet that was in it.
2. He can’t find the key to his apartment and his roommate is out of town. (for the next three months)
3. He’s been CEO for every company he’s ever worked for and you haven’t heard of any of them.
4. He asks to borrow money since you lost his wallet.
5. His laptop was stolen out of his car and he hasn’t had time to replace it. Can he use yours?
6. He invites you to meet his family and they are calling him by a different name.
7. He claims that all of his exes were money hungry pathological liars with personality disorders. (This explains why they have sole custody of the children and he has supervised visitation.)
8. The check he wrote you for your trip to Mexico bounces after you’ve spent it.
9. He’s going to sue his bank for losing his paycheck, which is why the check bounced.
10. He tells you he can’t have children and then you miss your period. You can keep your job and he’ll stay home with the baby. He’s got 18 years worth of vacation pay coming.

More than I know on 2008-03-12 20:11:58 |

Thank you keep dreaming, I know about depression and medication because I think I've been on every concievable medication and combination known to man thus far and nothing has ever made even the slightest difference. It is my conclusion finally that I must address the real root of the problem, myself and only I can do this for myself. I know there are alot of resources for help on this path and believe me I've exhausted or tried most of them. Until it comes from within nothing really makes it better for good. Somehow, this time I must find the way. That is my hope.
