| Good Friday! |
Good Friday to all!
This day is also called Holy Friday, Great Friday, or Black Friday. It is a religious holiday observed primarily by those of Christian faith observing the crucifixion of Jesus and the day of his mortal passing. This day coincides with Passover in the Jewish observance also.
The Act of Reparation (a prayer) is said this day in remembrance of what Pope Pius XI referred to as “The creature's (humanity’s) love should be given in return for the love of the Creator, another thing follows from this at once, namely that to the same uncreated Love, if so be it has been neglected by forgetfulness or violated by offense, some sort of compensation must be rendered for the injury, and this debt is commonly called by the name of reparation.”
I urge you wherever your belief and faith lies this day, this weekend to spend your time in LOVE for the something BIGGER that happened in 33 AD, the crucifixion of a yogi, Jesus Christ.

This week, weekend are much bigger than the act of congregating in a church/parish/place of worship to celebrate Easter/Passover, but really examining the LOVE in our life by embracing those around us with gratitude, selflessness, kindness, and unified respect for the weekend that celebrates new life. Let us live, give, and love one another.
