These Are The Days Of My life...
Hi,

Well, I worked overtime again Saturday! Yay Me!  I'm very happy for the extra income!  Not much happened except:

LC txted me out of the blue.  She hasn't spoken to me in 6 weeks at least, and now she txts me.  She just had some gossip and wanted to pass it along.  Apparently her married boyfriend got himself in trouble at their work, and was told to either find another job or get fired! So he found one out of state.  She says he is moving his wife to their new home.  To me that means he is giving LC up and keeping wifey-poo.  She still believes otherwise, but thats on her.  After dating a married guy for 6 years, I would stop believing that he is gonna get a divorce.

LC also stated that MP was pregnant.  I asked if she'd married the guy she was living with last year.  That was MP's intent as of late last year (as far as I knew).  LC said, no, that it was the ex-boyfriend's baby.  This is the ex that bought my babyhorse early last year.  They had a huge fist-type fight and vowed never to speak to each other ever again.  Guess we know how well she keeps her vows now, don't we!  I don't particularly care, except I'm sorry for the baby (assuming she actually goes ahead and keeps it.).  MP has always been a party-girl and heavy drinker.

MP herself told me that she'd bought a horse from Trainer, but Trainer just confirmed that another client of hers had bought that horse.  I had to laugh since I don't care one iota about that horse at all.  So, I have no idea why MP would lie about it! LC also told me that MP had bought this hugely tall Thoroughbred gelding that LC and I had looked at year before last.  He was 18 hands tall.  Very sweet boy, but I didn't have the money and LC was just curious.  So, I guess MP thought I'd be jealous, I don't know.  She would probably sneer and say it had nothing to do with me at all.  Which may or may not be true.  Either way, I don't have to pay the feed bill on that big boy!

The next day BK called me to chat.  She said she'd seen LC at the feed store.  LC admitted to her that she hadn't bought the property she talked me into putting a downpayment on last year.  She said LC had told her she'd bought a house on a city lot.  That is something she swore to me many, many times she would NEVER do.  They were right when they said Never Say Never!  Now she is stuck on a city lot, and STILL has to drive out to see her horses.

Thats about all the gossip I know.  I don't know which is true and which is fanciful daydreaming...and Franky My Dear, I Don't Give A Damn!  HeeHee...I think its very funny that LC thought I should know all the stuff she revealed to me though.  I have a feeling that she may be trying to get back into my good graces.  I will be nice to her, I might even go riding with her (if I can bring BK with me...she likes to ride too!), and I might go as far as getting her birthday and Christmas cards (I boxed them up and sent them to her back in late January)  but as for being as close as we once were....Once Bitten, Twice Shy!  You diss my family, you diss me!

Ok, as far as my beloved little ponies go...same ol', same ol!  Spanks is getting hair back in his former fungus hotspots, and seems to be quite happy!  He has finally gained back all the weight he lost last year.  I've ridden him and while we have loads of work to do, he responded well!  Trumbs is his usual sassy self.  I gave them both haircuts yesterday.  I just trimmed their whiskers and a tiny bridle path.  I just wanted a path wide enough for their halters.  If I show them this year, I can make it bigger and neater but for now, I like it this way.  Trumbs was very pissed off at me because he didn't want a haircut!  I turned them loose to play after and he just ran and ran and ran....ran in circles, bucking and rearing and carrying on!  It was funny to see!  I got some of it on video!  I will have to upload it one of these days!

Oh, I have decided its time for me to buy a house.  I've been sort of looking for a couple of weeks now. I am in the process of getting pre-approved...which will tell me what my price-range will be.  Last year, on a lark, I tried, and got approved for $75k with no down, and no co-signer, working Part Time!  I am fairly certain I can get at least that much.  I told the loan officer I didn't want to get my house payments over $750-$800...so that may have limited me, but I can always go to another bank and try again.

My youngest sister, KJ just bought a house down the street from us.  She paid $112K, and they said her payments would be $900 a month.  She is kinda freaking out about the whole thing now, but it really is a great house, and in a good area!  Better than where we are now!

Actually, I didn't know that KJ was even looking at houses.  I've just been looking online and driving around after work by myself.  I'm really glad for them, but I think she may have bitten off more than she can comfortably chew. However, no one asked for my opinion, therefore, I'm keeping it to myself!  I'm just glad she's happy!

Bye,
