Hi,

I have struggled everyday through this week.  It just seemed to take SOOOOOOOOOOO long!  BUT, now its Saturday.  I'm pretty happy that the weekend is here!  Of course, I don't have any plans...but who cares, its Saturday!
Plus, I got my tax return! Yay! 

The sad part of that is over a third of it goes straight to the vet bill.  Oh well, at least my beloved Spanky is almost back to normal.  He just has a little bit of swelling to get rid of before he's back to his normal self.  AND, since I've been looking at it everyday, I might be wrong.  He might be back to normal now and I'm just being paranoid!  Either way, he still has about three days left of his medicines to take.  Then I will give him the rest of next week off.

The following week, I will start lunging him again to help rebuild his stamina and relearn some of his manners!  Having a year off has wreaked havock with his ground manners!!!!  Not that he is dangerous, just pushy!  I can hardly wait to climb back in the saddle again!  I don't have another horse to ride, so I am just as out of shape as he is.  At least that way, we will be getting back in shape together.

Today I want to take $100 of my tax return and/or paycheck and just go buy something totally fun for me.  That way I won't feel so sick when my return is all gone to pay for the vet and the mechanic (to fix my beloved Harrison!)  I have not decided what to buy yet.  I already have a beautiful tack truck (which I bought from MP because she was mad at her dad.  He hand crafted it specially for her!  What a brat!  But, I'm not giving it up!) anyway, I don't need anything like that. 

I need a new vacuum but that isn't fun.  I don't need any saddle covers/bags since every saddle I own has its own cover or bag.  In fact, I'm trying to sell most of the saddles anyway.  I plan to send the bags/covers as a 'bonus' to the nice buyers!

Any money left after I pay off the vet, and the mechanic will go towards paying off my fence panels.  I only owe $220 ( I think...I'll have to look at my receipts).  Then I will be back to broke!

As for my rebate check...I'll think of something to spend that money on once I actually have the check in hand!  That way, I won't be counting on that money for anything!
