Its been awhile
HI,

Its been awhile, I know.  I've been trying to get through the days with my sanity intact.

As anyone whose ever even tried to buy a house knows, its no walk in the park!  In fact, I've been disappointed twice in as many days, to the point of tears.

At this time I do not qualify for a loan.  I have a great job with excellant pay, and no end in sight, yet I still have demons that haunt my credit.

My credit scores are no where near each other, with the lowest one falling in the mid-risk range, but since the market has seen a radical increase in foreclosures, NO ONE is lending to anyone without EXEMPLARY credit!  Unless of course you can slap down a downpayment of 90% or better!  Which I can't!  Heck, I can't even slap 20% down!

And yet people bought the property where my horses live who have NO financing and appear to have no visible means of support! (ok, I have no idea if they have jobs, but the guy buys junk cars and fixes them up to sell... same with household appliances!)  They bought the place as a 'rent to own' deal...  which I tried to get her to do for me last August!  UGH!  They had to do it that way because the house is in such BAD shape that it would never appraise for what she wants!  It won't pass any kind of inspection at all, its in that bad a shape!

So, now I am on the prowl for yet another new place to keep my boys while I wait out my credit crisis.

My best bet on that issue is to move back to one of the stables I used to board at...I just have to decide between them!  They are next door to each other.  The cheaper one has no place to turn out or ride, except for a small arena.  The expensive one has several acres to ride in and some turn out paddocks as well, but its almost double what I'm paying now!  The cheap one would only be $20 more than I pay now (I believe!  I haven't checked with them to see if they even have room yet).  The expensive one has room for both my boys and no mexicans (I've had bad exeriences with sharing a stable with them before!!!! They have no concept of 'leave other people's stuff alone!') The cheap place has a mexican family but I know the owner of the stable has gotten him to understand about 'borrowing' others' stuff, or they wouldn't be there.

I will probably end up moving to the bigger, more expensive place just because I won't have to ride on the streets if I don't want to, plus there is more parking if my family wants to come out and help feed the boys (which they all like to do upon occaision.)

Well, I best go for now.  I'm off to feed the boys, then to Aldi to buy some groceries, etc.

Bye
