I'm not sure that BABYJANHUDSON knows what masticating means. Which leads me to think that you have recently discovered this word. Now to answer your question--- YES I masticate in public often. My wife and I like to go out a few times a week and when we are in low lit places we love to masticate until our hearts are content. :)
