An untimely absence...

Well, my friends - most of you know that I'm slowly going blind. T'day, I woke up with not just my bad eye not performing, but now both eyes are down for th' count. There's a large drop of blood in my field of vision, and by this afternoon it will completely envelope my vision. So while I'm still able, I simply want to tell all of you why I'll be away for a few days. If I'm able, I'll pop by and check in - but no promises. Love ya all; can't wait to be back with ya!

Bummer, John. I hope it clears up soon...um...it'll clear up, won't it? Man, I sure hope so! Hang in there, my friend. We'll save your seat.

Thanks, BL... It will PROBABLY clear up, though my right eye hasn't cleared up yet, and I've been waiting for three years now. But I remain optimistic. Is it OK to be scared now?

Thanks for th' love, all of you! Yes; I'm starting to see again, so I have been popping by from time to time, as my vision allows. Hope to be back in full swing soon! But I can't tell you all how much your thoughts means t' me...
