I had a great Christmas. I love watching my kids open presents. It's my favorite part of the holidays. This year we were blessed enough to be able to give some bigger gifts. My two big boys received snowboard packages. We went out today and let them pick out their own boots, boards and bindings. We got a great after Christmas deal. Now we just need snow! The mountain is icy right now and a friend of mine broke his arm trying to snowboard on ice (or concrete as he called it). We'll wait for some nice soft stuff. Ryan is old enough to take ski lessons this year so now all 6 of us can hit the slopes. I'm excited and scared all wrapped up in one big package. My husband was very thoughtful and sneaky this year. He tucked away money that I didn't know about so I wouldn't see the purchase on a bank statement or credit card bill. He researched digital cameras and got me a wonderful camera. We already had a small digital camera but this is the type that we can buy additional lenses for and take even better pictures. I'm very excited to put it to use. The camera we had took absolutely beautiful outdoor pictures and absolutely crummy indoor pictures. I got it all programmed and ready to rock and roll today. Everyone else seemed to enjoy their presents also. I'm so glad we get to give presents to each other on Jesus' birthday!
