Hello from China! Yep! China! Really am here and have been for a long period of time. Some might ask why China? Then ask."why not?" There are many good points as well as bad ones . Look around where you live you might be surprised what you find that might not be great let alone going to be to your liking. I'm interested in the history of this ancient land so am in a good place to go out and explore. I teach here so have students who know how to give me good info and places to visit while exploring the land.
China dates back 5,000 years or more. Here there are hidden treasures yet to be discovered while ancient cities filled with so much history you will not have time to really comprehend all that is here. One ancient city that is loved by this unique individual is Xi'an home to the Terra Cotta Warriors from the Qin period. Buried beneath mounds of soil and hidden for over 2,000 years it was discovered by a few local villagers who decided to dig for water. Presto some interesting old artifacts that have amazed thousands for the past few years. Going in and unearthing them were a monumental task which needed to be done in a delicate manner. In so accomplished this found 10,000 stone faced soldiers ready to do battle in protecting the emperor. OK so they are stoned but they were doing what they were supposed to be doing. No two faces are the same yet wonder who decided on this one. Many stone artifacts that still bewildered this person as for others who take the time to visit.
There is the emperors enclave but Will never be opened. Given a reason for it might be highly booby trapped even today could cause some from of destruction so why chance it. Leave it alone and go on with your life. The city is itself wonderful. Busy, clean, crowded like all other cities. A few western style places to devour some form of .
