Sent to the Argus newspaper in Fremont, California after
reading front page article on the 18th.
Ben,
I want to provide you the first opportunity at the truth as it relates to Jeff Longmeir and the article you created from the information provided by the Fremont Police.
This girlfriend’s house you speak of. It’s an ex-girlfriend who lives in Livermore, not on Nicolet. She lives in Livermore with her husband. That’s right, married to some other guy and living in Livermore.
This refused to surrender stuff. They must have been writing this when the dog was attacking Jeff because a witness heard the officers laughing during the attack. If you go by the house and take a look where the blood is, you will see the only blood is located on the floor in the garage between the two cars, not under them. While you are there you can also take a look under the cars and see if the dust is undisturbed or shows where a man wan hiding under one of them. I haven’t been there, but my money’s on undisturbed. Would this impact the situation, or just be another variation from the truth and therefore acceptable?
That first of two outstanding warrants? That first one came at him so fast I wonder if they ever took the first false imprisonment charge off after he served time on that bogus charge.
That second warrant for suspicion of possession of drugs? That a search warrant(?), because I haven’t heard of a judge issuing an arrest warrant for “suspicion of possession of drugs”
If anyone would have checked her story the would have found a number of people who listened to her Wednesday morning when she went to the house on Nicolet (when Jeff was not home) and told them about the black eye she had and how she had gotten it from her husband….
I will at this time provide you with a number of voicemail recordings from he to Jeff. I’m they will help clarify what she is up to. In addition, I have attached a document referencing the incidents leading up to last years railroad job.
The abuse of trust and power behind the Color of Authority is inexcusable.
It’s up to you to do what you think is right…
