I worked hard today and had a grin on my face from 7-3. Lunch being my favorite part of the day. I shall not go into detail since I'm a gentleman but lunch was the best part of the day. After work, I came home and did my dishes so we can elimate that first picture from my last entry since the counter is now free of dirty and molded pots and pans. I started to clean up the living room but got pretty bored with it real quick. So, I sat here and did a little research on fixing pipes while chatting with a few people. I think I can fix the pipes myself and from my estimation I bet you anything I can do it for under $500. We'll see. I also got a call from the mortgage company telling me that they were able to drop my house payments from $690 a month to about $630. So, if the ceiling wasn't so low in this apartment, I would've done a back flip. I am normally pretty good with managing my money so it'll be pretty easy to make the payments. This month, however, I went stupid and had gone out to much. I had to move money from my savings account to pay my rent. But hell, I have a little over $9,000 in savings. So, it's all good.
Zeke came over this afternoon to watch my TV. His is kind of broken; he threw his remote through it. One of the Celtics vs Lakers games had pissed him off. So, occassionally when he's bored he'll come watch my TV. We watched the movie Final Destination then played video games. He brought beer and shared, so, who was I to complain? Around 9, he decided that he wanted to go to The Pub, asked me to go, I said I'd rather not deal with a hangover tomorrow and stayed home. I'm sure somebody went with him.
Plans for 4th of July weekend. I'm going to the lake with a group of people. TC and Mandy are going to. Every year a bunch of my friends do a whole weekend of fun, games, and fireworks with our families there. D-Roc and Molly bring their kids, Brian brings his, I bring TC, we all have a good time. Even the single and childless people behave themselves for the sake of good clean family fun. There is beer, of course, but we normally don't bring it out until the kids go to bed. See, see, so responsible. *grin*
Hm, what else? TC will be here with me tomorrow. I'm looking forward to that since I didn't get to spend time with him last Wednesday. I miss the little pain in the ass. I'm not sure what were going to do tomorrow though. Any ideas?
That's all I got. Been a good day. I'm in a great mood and wide awake.
