Let's make this quick. Try to keep up, because I am going to spare you most of the details and just pretty much come out and say things since I gotta go meet Mandy soon.
Yesterday, I went to Mandy's to get my hair cut, while TC was with her parents having dinner and seeing Kung Fu Panda. While she was cutting my hair, Brad came over just to visit I guess. I shook his hand and talked to him for a bit while Mandy continued to work on my hair. Just being the nice guy that I am, despite the fact that he had my girl. Well, Mandy finished up and asked if she could just talk to Brad. I didn't realize she was going to do it today but after she said that I had a feeling she was going to dump him. But stupid me, didn't go home, I just sat on the front porch and waited. He came out later, seemed pretty calm for the most part.
"Is she serious? Did ya'll sleep together?"
Panick! "Is that what Mandy told you?"
"Yea, she fuckin' broke up with me and said ya'll slept together."
Eureka! "Then yes, yes, we sure did."
POW right in the face. Ok, so it was a bad answer. I'm not a fighter. So, I backed away into a corner on the porch and hoped he'd just go away. Lol. Which he did, he stomped out into the yard, kicked the mirror off my car, climbed into his truck, and left. Ooops. But I was ginning. I kind of wish she hadn't told him we slept together. And I kind of wish she hadn't have done it while I was still there. But hey, it's alll good. I'm happy. Even thought he hit me.
She said since she got me hit for telling him that she was going to take me to the movies tonight. We're going to see The Happening. And then I got to go to a birthday party tonight, I've got to call Molly and let her know that Mandy is going to be coming with me. Don't want any surprises there. Lol.
So, yea, I can't stop grinning. I probably look like an idiot with the side of my face all bruised up from getting hit with a boat paddle then getting hit with Brad's fist and still sitting here grinning. But hell, I'm happy. So, I will grin if I want to. I even grinned when I got pulled over on my way home last night. I got a ticket for not having my lights on. Ooops again. That's alright. I've got to go to court for it on July 29, just 8 days after I close on my house. Awesome!
Anyways, I'm off. I've got to eat. Tom (my stomach) is pissed that I haven't had anything to eat today.
*Grins* She loves me!

I have to tell you that I just went back to the beginning of you blog and read them all! And the list thing was the most romantic and heartfelt thing I have ever heard of. And whoever wrote you that private message is stupid. Of course it was bad timing but like you said you didn't have the words when she asked what was wrong, and she also made the choice to sleep with you. I am so glad that she broke up with Brad, and I hope that you truly find happiness with each other! And you sound like the cutest dad!
PS did I mention that I love your blog! I am now a Noahseth fan!

Oh and you know the line you need to use when others ask about your face .....
"I'm okay, but you should've seen the other guy, he's a mess!!"

Well seeing how you are the states best Mary Kay seller, you do know that you have concealer in your kit.
Okay sorry but couldn't help it.
Congrats, the only advice I would give you is go slow, don't rush things, get to know one another again, slowly. But most of all enjoy the ride.
