| Trick and Treats at Christmas

I'm really excited about Christmas this year! All of my shopping is done and my fake little tree is fat and full underneath like it just ate Thanksgiving dinner, thanks to the explosion of presents! The only thing i wish is that i could go ice skating and skiing! My family is going to visit my grandmother in Atlanta in less than two weeks and i made Brian promise to take me ice skating at least while we're up there. On the subject of Christmas, I think my favorite Christmas ever was when i was about 7 or 8. Before me and my brother Davy went to bed that night, my oldest brother Shawn had run down to the corner store and called us at home pretending to be Santa Clause! It was so funny because he changed his voice so much that me and Davy actually believed that Santa had called us and told us to go to bed or else. We, bright-eyed and ever-obedient, dutifully ran straight to bed. Shawn paid the price for exciting kids when we woke him at like, 4 in the morning to come see the presents Santa had left us. We couldn't go back to sleep because (of course) we were kids and we had seen all the presents under the tree! There was no going back! There were so many presents that year! We had already gone through and found which ones were ours and even counted them so we knew who was getting the most, lol! Usually, it was me, but Davy always got the biggest present. Back then, size mattered more than quantity obviously. Anyway, we knew that it would be four hours before we could open any presents, and we were hungry, so Shawn fixed us some VERY burnt eggs and ended up throwing them out to "feed the reindeer". We ran outside to find the "reindeer" tracks out in the dirt road and fake snow in the shape of boots leading up to our porch. It was such a great Christmas because Shawn spent so much time trying to make us smile--which we did alot of! The fun things he came up with were better than the presents we got. I will never forget that Christmas because of how much fun it was to be a kid and feel the magic of Christmas--no questions asked. Anyway, I hope all of you have a wonderful Christmas full of great memories and lots of time with loved ones! Merry Christmas!

Sounds like Shawn is one hell of a brother. The nicest thing I did for my sister on Christmas was wrap a box full of rocks. She shook it every day till christmas she was so excited to open it. Once she did she cried. It made me feel bad but I was only about 10. oh and by the way my fiance promised to rub my feet if i did the dishes so don't think that I'm some kind of prince, I just respond easily to bribery
