| monday came |
and so, monday came ... as usual, it came with an alarm announcing a very early morning ... and, as has become my habit, i responded by punching it squarely in the snooze button ... maybe one day i won't have to get up so early, i say to myself ... but, here i go ... teeth, coffee, dogs, and all of the usual morning stops ... this morning was a bit diffferent, though ... i started carpooling ... it will be nice when my car-partner drives ... two days a week she will rest and two days a week i will rest ... but, fridays we are both on our own ... monday means that the weekend has come and gone ... don't want to believe it ... i would argue it, though that wouldn't do any good ... the fact that i am, again at 6 AM at my desk, is proof enough of the validity that the weekend is done ... also, the contractors working on things in the room above me ... not even i am gullible enough to think that is somethin knocking about in my dreams ... no, i am at work ... mmm ... the second pot of coffee is done ... brb ...ahhhhhh!! there is nothing like the first cup of coffee in the morning ... that first 30 to 35 ounces allows me to get to the next pot ... well, at any rate ....
this was Halloween weekend ... fun was had by all ... now, here we are, collectively facing a new week ... and the week has yet to get up really ... com'on, you can't tell me that i am the only one hwo has noticed that monday mornign still has morning breath ... oh, wait, that is the stench from capitol hill ... oh well, no difference, i suppose ... a new week with new possiblities and options ... a new week, and old opinions ... ::sigh:: ... it was a good weekend and this looks to be a good week ... sure hope that i am going in the right direction this week ... ::smiles:: ...
