Thoughts.com Blogs - time to say goodbye....

The funeral is in the morning, everything is prepared and settled, the flowers are headed to the church in the morning. The photos are finished, and out for all to see. The viewing was yesterday and today....and I still haven't gone to say goodbye, that comes with the morning light. My family is sleeping, and it's almost 1am, I am waiting for emails from my mom and brother so I can finish the slide show of memories to give to my grandmother tomorow. I will be up until 3am or later and I have to be awake and getting ready at 5. We live 2 hours from them, and I have to take the kids to the friend thats watching them and be to the church at 10. We are going to play the song "On the wings of a snow white dove" by Marty Robbins, as well as releasing a white dove at the cemetary for him. He will be missed by so many. There have been so many visitors and so many tears. My cousins came in from California, and the youngest cried the whole time she was there, she didn't think Papa was that sick when she saw him last week, but as she put it she's never seen a dying man before either. I have some of the most amazing photos of him, from his time in the army, as well as his time as a young married couple with my Nana, and then onto having a family, and then grandchildren, and now dreat grndchildren. He has lived such a full and wonderful life, and we are all so blessed to have him in our hearts forever. If I can figure out how to put the slide show on here I will...if not, I can email it to those of you I have email addresses for...I hope everyone has a beautiful and blessed day tomorow...
