Thanksgiving was beautiful...we had great food, lovely company, a gentle snow falling all around us. It was warm and cozy in the house next to the fireplace, and cold outside. My grandfather did get to make it to dinner this year, and although he was a little off in nowhere he did enjoy himself. We all made placemats together, with the colorful leaves the kids collected for us. They are all ironed and snug at my mom's house, just waiting to be used next year as we all gather to do this again. I did miss having Andy with me while I enjoyed the good food, but he was off volunteering in southern California with some guys he used to work with, passing out food to all the people who have been displaced by the fires. He said they had 750 people, and plenty of food for all. It makes me so happy to know that he could do something wonderful this year, while we're apart. I have uploaded some pictures from the day so you can all see. I hope everyone of you had a warm and wonderful Thanksgiving!! I'm now looking forward to Christmas even more!
