 One trick pony
My brother gave me a website about lucid dreaming today. I'm tempted to try it. I have before and had partial success, but never really been able to control anything.
I told one of my classmates about it while we were screwing around in Mr. Yelinek's class a few years back and when I saw him a few weeks ago he said he had perfected it. The downfall, he says, is that you'll feel like you never sleep. If one wakes up after 8 hours of flying, seeing 360 degreees, or shooting lazers out of your tentacles, one doesn't feel very rested.
Oh well. I never feel very rested anyway unless someone is able to keep me in the stage where my mind has failed but my body isn't allowed to sleep. Then my dreams start to animate themselves over the top of reality. Last week I was getting a backrub from a certain girl who was trying to keep me awake when I was trying to sleep and I asked her, "Did you make that from scratch?"
She asked, "Make what from scratch?"
"The sunlotion you're rubbing on me," I said.
There was another funny one too but I can't remember it. Probably something about construction. After two years of not working construction I stilll get mundane nightmares about hammering endless nails or the time I fell 30 feet from the peak of a building. Todd saw me land and came out with a look of amazement on his face. He pointed to the top of the building and asked me, "Did you just fall from up there?" Luckily I landed on the narrow strip of freshly dug dirt between a concrete slab and a pile of rebar.
I stopped going to work a few weeks after that because I kept having nightmares about it. I literally woke up one night in the middle of swinging an imaginary hammer. My ex girlfriend had woken up and saw the whole thing. Another time I jumped in bed and she asked me what happened. I told her I fell. The tornado dreams I had as a kid don't even phase me anymore.
Back to the point, though. After about an hour of dreaming without actually sleeping, I'll wake up feeling like I've slept a full night. She's done that to me twice. It's kind of nice. Sort of like Davinci's sleep diet. Enough talk of sleep at 2 a.m. on a school night.
I'm going to marry a mexican girl someday. At least not a white american girl. That's the story I'm sticking to. Theres been some talk of immigration comming to work and taking them all away. That would make me so sad. It really brightens my day when three hundred people smile at me the whole shift.  It also makes me like white people less. Go to a park and build a sandcastle or a snowman. It wont be there when you come back- maelevolent bastards.
I've always liked foreign girls anyway. I went through a few of the foreign exchange girls in my day. A tunasian, a bangali, an irish, two chinese girls, and almost a fench and a peruvian, which is wierd because most of the foreign exchange kids are german, mexicanas are everywhere, and  I've never came close with either one of them. Thats four continents besides north america, six countries besides USA, and six races besides white. On a side note, the foreign exchange students attending Sheldon aren't allowed to date anymore.
