Accidentally arrived early for work- a whole hour earlier! Migs had called me about 10minutes before I left the house to tell me that the schedule had moved an hour later than usual. He wasn't even sure, so I decided that being early was better than being an hour late.When I got there, there were only about three of us for the PM shift. I was pretty cheerful about it because a disgruntled Mark was already sitting there, and he's always an hour late for work except this time he was clueless because he just got back from paternity leave. That struck me as really funny.
We decided to go downstairs together and he went outside to smoke while I stayed at the convenience shop to drink my coffee. Amazingly, I retained my cheerfullness all throughout the shift, like I was humming in between calls! And I guess customers can feel the positive vibes because I didn't get a lot of irate people. I only had one sale, and I had the feeling that I'd already had that customer before. Well, it's great that she keeps buying phones from me hehe.. I find it easier to connect with old people than young ones and I always try to give them a better deal. Well, I always try to give good deals even though it's risky to give too much to a customer because we're being recorded/monitored by the company but most of us try to go around the rules if we can. The top sellers are usually the ones who can bend the rules.
On the guy front, I'm still into R (can't help that) and we did have a few "moments" but I'm also starting to look at Migs, like really look at him. I think he's growing on me. He's always around and he's such a nice guy- not bad-looking either. Wah! I'm getting confused. Like I don't know where to look, with so many guycandy around hahaha
