Quiet. Rainy. Missing him... ?
I don't even know who to miss. So many people gone. So many I can't have.. hehe.
I hate it when guys give you signals then don't follow through on it. It's so not like a man. Or maybe they just don't take me seriously. Or maybe I'm too serious. Argh, I hate it when they get me confused. Why can't things ever be straight and moving forward for me?! I always have to go 'round in circles.
And there's going to be a wedding in the family this March. I've never really liked weddings. There's always too many people, and you have to make an effort to look extra pretty because it's, well, a wedding. Even if it's not your wedding. It's my cousin's wedding- he's the first cousin to get married so no pressure there. Not.
I met his fiancee yesterday at the mall. I've heard from other members of the family that she wasn't pretty and I have to agree on that. My cousin is good-looking and younger than her, which was quite obvious. I didn't say that aloud, of course. It was very awkward since she didn't even talk at all. She was with her dad and sister, both of whom gave big smiles. The bride-to-be just gave us a sort of strained look, then she immediately half-turned like she was too busy for further chit-chat. Shoe shopping must not be going so well.
I think my cousin could have done better but heck, what do I know about love? Zip, zero, nada. Just like my social life these past few months. I haven't even had a proper date since I broke up with my last boyfriend 4 months ago.
It's all very weird for me right now: starting a new job, trying to get along with a lot of new people, saying goodbye to so many...
I pray that it's all going to stop being so rocky- that I'm going to find my balance soon enough.
