A very long day.
Decided to not drive down to Orchard road as the parking fare will kill me. Luckily I made this decision, as I really spent a lot of time at Mt E. Took more than an hour ride on the MRT and reached Dr Tong's clinic just after 1115. Waited for about half an hour and finally went in. He asked a lot of questions and poke here and there. Then he decided that it's best that I get some x-rays done first. Went to the first floor for that, took about 5 x-ray shots, some in very awkward positions.
As the clinic is closed for lunch from 1 to 2, so I went for my own lunch too. At 2+ went back to see Dr Tong. He explained that the spine looks ok but L4 is a bit compressed. Yet he doesn't think that is the problem. So he sent me down to see the neurologist Dr Nei.
Went straight down, Dr Nei asked the same questions, repeated the answers. Then he did some test by sending electric currents through the leg. He also used a measuring tape to measure my leg, hmmm.... wonder whats that for. Finally he poke a "accupuncture needle-like" electrode into my leg and did more electric current tests.
Dr Nei told me that there are some muscle delay in the legs, there is definitely something wrong with the nerves, but he has no idea why and how bad. So, all he can do is to give me some vitamins for the nerves and we'll wait and see. He gave me a letter to Dr Tong, so went back up to Dr Tong's clinic. He also say wait and see. I asked him for how long, he said a few months. Damn, spent a few hundred dollars and more than half a day in Mt E and that's the only thing they can say, WAIT AND SEE!!! Might as well don't come.
Well, review in two weeks, really have to wait and see then.
