 I am grateful.
I have been so grateful the past few weeks. You see, my family has been facing some hard economic issues lately: both parents were laid off months ago, neither one is collecting unemployment because it hasn't gone through yet, and they have no money at all to their names. I am not living on the streets or anyhting like that, but I do not have a phone, rent is due soon, and the only way we are bringing in money is selling our valuables on Craig's List.

At first, I was very upset because with everything that's happening in our economy, I was feeling very stressed. But, after a few small things, I can see that God is looking out for me. For example, the day after Halloween, an anonymous person left a good deal of food on my porch with a note that read:

Do not give up for the Lord is with you in your time of need. He loves you, and he will never give you too much work that you can't handle. Always remember that God is with you, and you will always have someone to help you out. God Bless.

I was very happy that someone would be so caring to do such a thing. I still to this day have no idea who it was, but I would like to thank them. It truly meant a lot. As for my parents being unemployed, my father was just hired at a factory, and I am currently finding a job of my own to help my parents out.

In conclusion, I guess things aren't always as bad as they seem. I have seen the blessings of God so far, and I know that I will see more of them. I love the Lord, and I am so happy to have him in my life. I am so grateful for the friends and family that I have, and I am so lucky that they would help me as much as they have. God Bless Everyone! I am grateful. :)

I feel for you. Though i am not from united states, i just heard a lot being laid off. Its nice to hear from you that you have been very Optimistic. God really is miraculous. We may never see HIM, but i guess that is what we call faith, believing what we wanted to see. :) I just hope for all the best for you and your family. Be safe!
