This missive is for all my readers who still have the power to think and make decisions-----this is Cork.
Can you spell 'impeachment'? Eleven letters---not hard---still viable.
Your king is wandering done a dusty trail, filled with cows, looking towards the shepherd---wondering-----.
$800 million to be sent to supplement the world's food shortage---thru the United Nations, I guess. WHY---are Americans paying $1.50 for a loaf of bread? WHY are Amnericans paying $3.50 per gallon of milk? WHY does a beef chuck roast cost $2.69 #? WHY are the farmers getting rich selling their corn destined for ethanol production? This corn is not even a viable answer---there are cheaper ways! AND---what is Kellogs going to do? What about a box of fucking corn flakes?
Who cares---your king doesn't. Ethanol can still save the world. A minimal rebate can solve the citizens 'cost-of-living' problems and elevate the economy out of its distressed state! THIS---all according to the world of Bush. Believe it or not---he KNOWS what switchgrass is!!! What did his mother feed him?
Your king says the economy is 'coming on', is that like, 'stampeding'?
Your king says jobless rate is dropping! How about the only fucking reason is because the people that are filing for unemployment benefits are giving up---there is no more benefit money available and---there are NO jobs! So, the people sink into the woodwork! My Daddy always said that when the price of human shit reaches $10.00 per #---poor people will be born without assholes!
Between the 'sunshine patriots' and the 'tree huggers'---the world is great and prosperous. Meanwhile---your baby coughs---and coughs. There are only so many recipes using rice or noodles that you can prepare---heaven forbid that there might be a small piece of meat for seasoning. What about some sugar to dip a wet finger into, then place in your baby's mouth, to sooth belly pains. Mommas milk is going dry because she is saving food for her children!
There is no more time for tears. Just time to spend at the public forums and the ballot box or-----other choices.
