I just want to be free, I just want to be me, walk out the door and throw away the key. Let me pack my bags, could'nt care if i'm in rags,at least i'll be on my own,without being hit by a stone, far away from this home. I just want to be free, I just want to be me, walk out the door, and throw away the key. Let me go,don't let me stay, i want to move along and go my own way. I have to go,i need to leave,give me space to dream and breathe. I know you'll cry,when i say goodbye,but always remember me in your eye. I need to know,you're still there,hoping and praying,you still care, oh why is life so unfair. I just want to be free, I just want to be me, walk out the door,and throw away the key.
