LAST NIGHT THE HOUSE PASSED THE RECOVERY BILL WHICH WOULD GIVE UNEMPLOYMENT BENEFITS THRU 2009 AND GIVE A 25.00  A MONTH INCREASE FOOD STAMPS  WHICH IS WHAT 10 LOAFS OF BREAD COST.NOT MUCH IN THE OVERALL SCHEME OF THINGS
YET EVEN AS THE BILL PASSED ALL 177 PINHEAD REPUBLICANS IN THE HOUSE VOTED AGAINST THIS BILL.WHAT PART OF GETTING RE-ELECTED DONT THEY UNDERSTAND.
THEY MUST THINK THAT THESE 4.8 MILLION PEOPLE ARE ALL DEMOCRATS.THEY WILL HAVE A RUDE AWAKEING IN 2010 WHEN MOST OF THEM JOIN THE RANKS OF THE UNEMPLOYED.
WE NEED JOBS IN THIS COUNTRY THAT MAKE THINGS THAT SAY "MADE IN THE U.S.A."LIKE WE DID BACK IN THE 50S,60S.WE NEED A NEW MANUFACTURING BASE IN THIS COUNTRY AND GET OUT OF THE SERVICE BUSINESS.SCHOOLS PUBLIC/PRIVATE NEED TO HAVE SHOP STARTING IN THE 5TH GRADE IE:CARPENTRY/SHEETMETAL ETC OR THINGS THAT MAKE THE GREEN INDUSTRY BE PRODUCTIVE.YOU HAVE A LOT OF KIDS THAT CANT GO TO COLLEGE AND MICKEY DS IS NOT THE ANSWER.THEY SHOULD HAVE THE CHANCE TO FIND OUT AT A EARLY AGE IF THEY ARE MECHCANLY INCLINED.BACK IN THE 50S I HAD A LOT OF CHOICES IN THE BOSTON PUBLIC SCHOOL SYSTEM.WHEN WE WERE READY FOR HIGH SCHOOOL WE COULD CHOOSE FROM BOSTON TRADE,BOSTON ENGLISH,BOSTON LATIN,RINDGE TECH IN CAMBRIDGE WHICH PREPARED YOU FOR MIT IF YOU HAD THE GRADES.I HOPE THAT THE OBAMA WHITE HOUSE WILL BRING BACK THIS CONCEPT WHICH I HAVE GIVEN MY INPUT.BOTTOM LINE IS WE NEED JOBS AND GOOD PAYING ONES NOT ALL MIN.WAGE JOBS.WE HAVE TO TAKE THE GREED OUT OF THE BIG FORTUNE 500 CO.S AND START MAKING 21ST CENTURY THINGS.]]>

today is the 14th of march 2008 and the ecomony is going  down the tubes 
the stock market is going to record lows.what is the reason for this fall.the feds say unemployment is 4.8% thay must live in a planet other than earth.i guess when they have their gas/grocerys/clothes/medicne shipped in and dont have to go to the places that the ordinary folks have to go to on a daily basis they are completly out of touch.the real unemployment figures are above 6.0% because when your benifits run out you are off the list.so they can make the numbers say what they want.my wife and i are retired and live on a fixed income and its tough to make it from check to check.when you have a unlimited supply of funds i guess you think all is well in the world.back in the early 1960s we used to go to grocery store and spend 30.00 and have 3 shopping carts full.now you go to the grocery store and spend 150.00 and you cant fill 1 cart.bush was on tv this morning and the last question he was asked was about 4.00 gal.gas and the high cost of food and he could not answer it.that just shows how out of touch he is with the
real people of this country.in feb.2008 i sent a email to a bunch of friends telling them that on march 4/5 gas/oil would be 110.00 a barrel gas over 3.25 a gal and gold over 1000.00 a oz.well it happened.now what really sucks is that all the big oil co's are gonna build refinerys in iraq thanks to richard head cheeny and the closed door meeting he had with the oil co's 
back in 2001 that no one can find out what was discussed.
how can we as the owners of the constitution,change this abuse of the majority of the american people.if we vote for mccain its gonna be 4 more years of the same,if we vote for clinton we might have a slim chance of seeing some recovery,if we vote for obama we will see a lot of change but at what cost.as a senior on a fixed income he has a plan to raise the limit from 32k to 50k on earnings from s.s.but none of them are addressing the damm gas problems.the higher the oil the higher everything else goes thats made from petroleum byproducts,ie:lipstick,any plastic goods,grain,food,meats,all you got to do is google oil and see whats made from a barrel of oil.i lived in louisiana untill katrina put us in tn. and i know that their is oil in the reserves that cost 50 cents a barrel.the ceo of exon was on tv the other day and said that it cost exon 7.14 a barrel to get it to market so hes making 103.00 a barrel profit.give me a break.these greedy ceo's  need to get a real life and quit complaining about making 103.00 profit on 1 barrel of oil.i dont know who will be the next president but whom ever it is has got a serious problem

1= put a cap on the price of oil back to the year 2000,this would lower gas prices approx.2.00 a gallon.
2= open up all the oil pumps and rigs in the usa  that are shut down ie:la.,tx,ok.,co.etc ,and tell the opec guys to take their oil and shove it,cause if we stay independent and use our own supplys the will come around.
3=quit borrowing money from other countrys,and tell them to pay back what they owe us so we can bring down the national debt.
4=just these things above will bring down the cost of grocerys,gas.inflatiion and folks would have not to worry about makings ends meet
5=get all the big corpartions to pay their fair share of the taxes instead of letting them hide their money in the caymens,swiss banks avoiding their tax responsability
6=remove all tax cuts on people making over 150k a year and give it to the ones that make up to 149,999.99ka year.
7 =cut and cap ceo's departure packages to what most americans get when they leave a job
no one is worth a 160 million severance package.
8=make oil co.'s reinvest in new sources of energy instead of recording 10+billions in profits in a quarter and not telling what they do with this money
9=if chaves can sell 100.00a barrell oil and sell the people of venasula gas for 25 cents a gallon there is something wrong with this country.
10=cut back on gas consumption,if we all stopped buying gas 1 day a week the oil co's would feel the punch.example i filled up on dec.11 2007 and i have driven 40 miles since and i still have a full tank.we go to dr. grocery ETC. and thats it.we are retired and on a fixed income and im gonna try to see if i can go three months on 1 tank of gas.you can stay home and still enjoy life,read a book,tv,computer etc.carpool to work if possible
bottom line to all canidates is this
"ITS THE ECONOMY STUPID AGAIN"AND IF YOU CANT FIX IT YOU SHOULD GET OUT OF THE RACE FOR PRESIDENT.

AND FOR THE  REASONS THAT WE ARE IN A PLACE THAT WE THE AMERICAN PEOPLE THINK IS "RIGHT / WRONG'.WE SHOULD ALL GIVE THANKS TO THE FAMILYS OF THOSE WHO HAVE FALLEN.THIS HOLLIDAY IS NOT A HOLIDAY THAT WE CAN ALL AGREE THAT THINGS ARE GOOD IN 2007.LET US HOPE THAT THE TROOPS WILL BE HOME SOON,GAS WILL BE 1.50 A GAL,BREAD WILL BE .50 A LOAF AND A GAL. OF MILK WONT COST MORE THAN A GAL OF GAS.
IS THIS JUST A DREAM OR IS THERE ANY VISION IN THIS DREAM.
