 I'm BACK
Officially I'm BACK. Alive and kicking after a week-long vacation and I have to cope with what's new and hot in here. As I promised, let me share the moments I had during homecoming. It was nostalgic and emotional yet it's all worth it. My mom, who havent's seen me for almost a year, knew that our meeting seems unexplainable. She desperately hugged me and kept holding her tears. "Im home", I reminded myself. There was really nothing new in the house except for the newly built restroom or comfort room. My room stays the same still standing the huge double-deck facing the traditonal fully furnished cabinet where I remember putting all my clothes not to mention adult magazines. But that was highschool days. Today everything wordly is readily available in just a click with my cellphone. I owe my family a story all about my escapades in CEBU. So many questions I need to answer such as: How's the work? How was my experienced living all by myself? What's the best thing about Cebu? Detailed information was well rehearsed to be able to deliver it impeccably. I attended relative-gatherings trying to cath-up the buzz and the latest news. I was surprised by their explicit comments that I actually look better or at least much better than before. I dont know why but I want to believe it. I celebrated my 21st birthday back home last 30 March 08 and I think it is the most memorable birthday in my life. There were lots of delicious filipino delicacies foods like lechon, pancit, humba, dinuguan and desserts like gulaman, cakes and maja blanca. Owing to its simplicity, it was well prepared and attended by friends and family relatives. I must admit I got drunk but I managed and just call it a day. The hardest part of homecoming is the time when you depart and leave home because you have to. Parting is such a sweet sorrow as they always said. It's true and it always will. I know I will cherished the short vacation I had. It maybe takes a year to come home but that's life and I have to move on. They will always be my inspiration to bite the bullet and bring home the bacon.

I exactly know the feeling of seeing parents and family again after we didn't see them for some time. I'm happy that you had a great time. I love Filipino sweet made from sticky rice flour (glutinuous rice). I forget the name (Is it bingka?). Uh yummmm....
