Well after recovering from my night out with old friends my 6 year old nephew has come to stay as it is half term.
My sister dropped him off early on Thursday morning and we are bringing him back home on Sunday.
Well he is a super little boy, impeccably behaved and well mannered, but he is so tiring! Whether it's because I am not used to children as I don't have any myself or that I am getting old, I have no idea.
We haven't done a huge amount, a trip into town, a cinema trip and bits and bobs but I am shattered. I do think though, it might be the fact that he gets up early!
We have let him stay up later than normal as a treat, but he is still up just after 7am. I know that's not ridiculously early, but added to that a husband who has a cold and is snoring like a pig I feel I am losing several hours of much needed sleep!!
Many early nights needed next week I think!
