The war in Iraq is really stupid, I wish people would realize it's like Vietnam all over again. In Vietnam we went over there with the intention of killing the enemy, but we went over their blind cause we didn't really know what the enemy looked like. I mean they looked like regular people, the same goes for Iraq. All those people are dting cause we don't really know what the enemy looks like. And what cause of the stupid lies the gov't keeps feeding us. Bush has no real intentions to make better for the ppl, he wants to make it better for him to go over there and get oil. So many lives wasted on stupidity. My mother is in the military and just did a tour overseas. Not exactly in Iraq, but she was over there. I honestly do not support the war, but being a military brat and the fact that I love my mother, I support her.

The reason we went in was based on untruths. Notice how the reason has changed over time. Now that we are there, new problems have been born. Hence, we need to stay in till stability is a reality. Middle East has always been an unstable region. We haven't helped matters, and in someways have contributed to the instability. We will be there for some time.

it's terrible. my brother is currently over there, and my best friend wants to join the military next year so he can go. it is apsolutely nuts to fight for people who turn around with a bomb in their ass and blow everything up. how about the US fix our problems before we take on someone elses. ans stickyicky, as far as the oil thing goes, i agree with you to a point. i think that is one reason we are over their, and the other is bush thinks the entire world should be run like the US. which sucks. and why everyone is better than us. and nobody likes us.
