Swim Suits
So I am trying to be more nice now.... not say stuff about fat people so much....

Swim suit session is coming up. I love water! I had 13 bathing suits at one point. (I was living in Florida.) I don't know what to do this summer! I want to just wear a two piece and show off my baby belly. It looks nice... NO stretch marks, I still have a inny, not too bad..... Someone at work said I shouldn't let it show because some people don't want to see that and it might gross some out. Why is it okt to tell a pregnant chic that but not ok to tell someone over weight that maybe they should wear a one piece? Especially because "it is something beautiful, a new life getting ready to coem into this world, etc etc".

What do you guys think about the two piece vs one piece as far as being pregnant?

My daughter had a baby last year and went to the beach in a bikini top, i would never had done that, but she had a nice little bump, i'v seen some right mosses with their pregnant and non pregnant bumps hanging out, it isn't nice,
but a neat tidy in trip baby bump is lovely, thats where we all came from.
Go for it, if you're comfprtable like that, go for it.

I am DUE!! and I am sexy. my belly looks great and when I go to the beach I show it off! if you look good and feel good in a two piece then wear one! Pregnant belly's are not disgusting and if somebody doesn't want to see it then they shouldn't look. It's not like you are a 90 yr old man wearing a leopard skin thong!

There is good logic for both sides of this debate. I personally don't like to see "fat" people or pregnant people in two piece bathing suits. However, I do think they have the right to don such. Once they do, they open themselves up for comments of all sorts, and rightfully so. I don't think that they should be offended that I don't necessarily agree with their choice. There are creative ways to hide fat if it is a sensitive issue. Once you expose it blazingly, I think the sensitivities need to be shelved. That being said, I try to be more sensitive anyway and find a way to make as many people as possible feel accepted. It's not always easy, but I think it's the right direction. We are all a strange lot and we need to find ways to embrace our differences without ignoring them. Personally, I prefer two piece suits be worn only by hot bodies.
