I think we can all agree that crime rates are off the charts and we all worry about it and wonder what we can do to solve it. I have the answer.
OK, how many people reading this have stolen something before? It could have been candy, to a car. Most people have tried it before even if they were really young. Would you have tried it if you knew your finger would be cut off if you were caught? I don't think so.
Do you think someone would beat their kids if they knew that their hands would be broken beyond ever healing properly?
Jail is a joke. The inmates don't have to work, they can sleep all they want, they get three meals a day. That doesn't sound too bad to me. The worst they have to deal with is issues with other inmates.
I truely believe we should bring back the punishments of the old. Now it will suck for someone who was wrongly convicted but I bet crime rates would be cut in half if not more...
